Bringing in the first Saturday Night Live of 2014 showed viewers that there was nothing Drake couldn’t handle.
Drake did it all last night as the host and performer of SNL, with skits mocking everyone including Alex Rodriguez, Katt Williams, Jay Z, and his boss Lil Wayne as ‘Steve Urkel’. His cold open played on his Black and Jewish background (can’t forget about Rihannakah) and more.

Teyana Taylor Dropped By Adidas Because Of Rihanna Beef
It looks like Teyana Taylor’s partnership with Adidas has come to an end. According to Senior PR manager for Adidas they have let Taylor go because of Rihanna beef.

Finding it odd that no definitive statement from Adidas had been made on the matter, we reached out to the sneaker brand for a comment and that’s when they told us Teyana has in fact been dropped from her deal. A Senior PR Manager for the corporation wrote to us in an email:
“We have ended our relationship with Teyana Taylor and do not have any upcoming product launches with her.”
When asked whether the decision was based on Teyana’s altercation with Rihanna and if the petition calling for Adidas and Reebok to eliminate the endorsement factored into the decision at all, the rep added:
“All I can say is that adidas partner with athletes and artists who blend well with our brand values. We evaluate our relationships with partners based on the values we hold at adidas and we don’t condone violence of any kind.”
Police Report Details What Happened The Night Chris Brown Was Arrested In D.C. (DETAILS)
Howard Homecoming is over and the smoke is finally clearing in the Chris Brown felony assault arrest.
And with Breezy due in court today, we’re learning much more about the fight that landed the singer in jail on a night that was supposed to be full of fun and partying at The Park at Fourteen nightclub in Washington D.C.
We told you here — Brown was arrested on Saturday night after hosting a Homecoming party at the nightclub. Upon returning to his hotel, Brown got into a scuffle with another man.
A police report obtained by CNN has identified the alleged victim as 20-year-old Isaac Adams Parker of Beltsville, Maryland.
Although Breezy’s camp maintains that Parker was trying to enter the singer’s tour bus, this is Parker’s account of what happened that night:
Parker told police that he tried to jump into a photo that Brown was posing for with a female fan on the sidewalk when the singer said, “I’m not down with that gay s–t” and “I feel like boxing,” the police report said. Parker said that Brown then punched him in the face with his closed fist, the report said.
Parker also told police that Brown’s bodyguard stepped in and punched him in the face again. The bodyguard, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 240 pounds, then grabbed Brown by the arm and pulled him towards the tour bus.
Eventually, Brown and the bodyguard were taken into custody and were being held at the Second District police station. They were later transferred to a central jail cell block for processing, police said.

As for Parker, he was treated for a bruised and swollen face and released from the hospital. A TMZ report reveals that Parker may have had his nose broken and will require surgery.
But Breezy might not be getting away with some minor bruising. Because he’s already on probation in California for the domestic violence conviction involving former girlfriend Rihanna, any arrest could result in jail time.
And a lot of it.
The arrest could have serious legal consequence for Brown, 24, since he is serving probation for the felony domestic violence conviction relating to his 2009 attack on former girlfriend Rihanna.
Probation rules require Brown to stay out of all legal trouble. Even an arrest that does not lead to a conviction could result in a probation violation charge.
Brown is due in court today at 1:00 p.m. EST. We’ll keep you updated on the latest in this case.

Kanye West Going on Tour With Kendrick Lamar (Yeezy announces first solo tour in five years.)
Aside from going out with Jay Z, Kanye West isn’t much for sharing the tour spotlight, but all of that is set to change soon. West is hitting the road with Kendrick Lamar next month.
Early this morning, the G.O.O.D. Music front man tweeted the words “TOUR” next to a flyer featuring a floating Yeezus (perhaps a resurrection of some sort?) underneath the words: “Kanye West’s 1st Solo Tour in 5 Years with Kendrick Lamar.”
Starting Oct. 19 in Seattle, the rap stars will hit more than 20 stops, including New York City’s Madison Square Garden and the Los Angeles Staples Center. While K. Dot will be setting the table for ‘Ye most nights during the trek, fans in attendance can expect to a see a number of special guests pop up on any given night.
West’s last solo tour was 2008’s Glow in the Dark jaunt, which featured Rihanna and N.E.R.D. as openers on select dates. Lamar recently wrapped up his good kid m.a.a.d. city world tour last month.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Sept. 13.
Jay Z Announces North American Tour Dates
Jay Z is preparing for a busy fall. Live Nation has announced that the Roc Nation chief will tour cities in North America this year as part of his Magna Carta tour. Though they have not yet released specific dates, the tour will likely begin after the rap mogul’s overseas run.
Hovito will begin the jaunt’s European leg, kicking off in the UK’s Manchester Arena, Oct. 3.
Jay has been touring for most of the summer promoting the platinum-plus selling Magna Carta Holy Grail. He and Justin Timberlake wrapped up their co-headlining Legends of the Summertour last month. Late last week, the duo dropped the music video for “Holy Grail” via Facebook.

Romeo Miller Injured in Serious Car Accident [Photos]
Romeo Miller and his driver were involved in a car accident on Friday morning in Los Angeles while en route to the airport. We’re not exactly sure how the accident was caused, but the driver in the other vehicle smashed into the passenger side of Romeo’s vehicle where Romeo was sleeping.
His rep issued an official statement via Instagram:
Romeo & his driver was hit this morning at 5am at speeds up to 60mph on the way to LAX airport. The most damage & impact was on the passenger side, which is where Romeo was seated and sleeping. For him to walk away from this horrible accident is truly a blessing! He’s in the hospital getting some stitching and X-rays but wanted me to relay this message to his fans, “I’ll Instagram as soon as I’m better & I love you guys! -Romeo’s Rep

Raz-B Was Never in A Coma; Manager Claims it Was All A Hoax

According to Raz-B’s manager, he was hurt in a nightclub brawl near Shanghai, but his injuries were not serious and he was never in a coma.
CNN Reports:
“The comments about Raz being in a coma did not come from his official representative,” Rivers said.
The singer’s brother, who performs under the name Ricky Romance, said in a statement sent to CNN Monday afternoon that he had been “misled by unknown reasons.”
“I was unfortunately unable to contact my brother at the time and then panicked,” Romance said. “I then alerted as many people of this information hoping to gather facts… Since the source that gave me this information was what I thought to be legitimately reliable I didn’t question I just believed. I apologize if I seem like I jumped to conclusions but a coma is a serious situation and it was concerning my brother whom is my best friend as well. I sincerely apologize for the confusion I caused if that is the case.”
A celebrity news website (TMZ) first reported the original member of the boy band B2K was in a coma Saturday, identifying its source as Toy Jones.
Although Jones gave CNN the same information Sunday, she declined to give the name of the hospital — only saying it was in the Zhejiang province near Shanghai.
Several hours later, Jones sent CNN a written statement saying the singer had miraculously recovered from the coma and would be released from the hospital in days. The unedited statement reads: “Doctor says Numerous Brain scans showed that Raz’s entire cortex- the parts of the brain that give us consciousness, thought, Memory and understanding is now functioning. Doctors say its a miracle and told his family that he stands a strong chance of survival and no signs of being brain dead for the rest of his life against all odds,Raz woke up this morning and is in stable condition We ask the the fans and media respect our family’s privacy”
CNN chose not to report the story until the story until details could be confirmed by the U.S. State Department, officials at the U.S. embassy in China or Chinese officials. Raz B also reached out personally to CNN in an e-mail asking that nothing be published.
Rivers sent a statement distancing the singer from the coma report on Monday.
When CNN asked Jones about the statement, she said “as far as I know it is true” that he was in a coma. She said she was hired by Raz B’s family to get the story out to the news media.
Wow. We thought something about the whole report seemed a little fishy, but out of respect for those involved we kept the skepticism to ourselves. We received an email this morning saying the story wasn’t true. Take a look at the message we received below.

Lee Thompson Young Dead at 29 After Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

Lee Thompson Young, most famous for playing the main character on Disney’s The Famous Jett Jackson is dead after what appears to be a suicide. He was only 29 years old.
Sources tell us Young’s body was discovered with a gunshot wound that appears to be self-inflicted.
Young currently appears in the TNT show “Rizzoli & Isles” — and we’re told when he didn’t show up to work this morning, staffers called the landlord of Young’s L.A. home to check up on the actor.
We’re told … when the landlord opened the door, he discovered Young’s body.
Young was a rising star in Hollywood. After he made it big as a Disney star, he went on to play running back Chris Comer in the 2004 movie “Friday Night Lights.”
This is incredibly sad. Story developing…

Leyla Ghobadi, a French Canadian model is claiming to have had an affair with Kanye West while Kim Kardashian has been pregnant.
In an exclusive interview with Star, Leyla reveals that the scandal began at Kanye’s concert on July 6, 2012, when he had security pick her out of the crowd to meet him for drinks after the show. Leyla says Kanye told her that his relationship with Kim was “just for publicity” and to “increase his fan base,” and later engaged in two sexual encounters with her, including one when Kim was pregnant with his child. She even shares that Kanye tried to hook up with her as recently as last week!

Chris Brown Appears in Court, Could Be Facing Charges Over Frank Ocean Brawl
Chris Brown attended court on Monday and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 15 to decide whether or not he violated his probation.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has been unhappy with Brown’s court-ordered community service, performed in his hometown of Richmond, Va. The DA’s office said there was sloppy paperwork and oversight in relation to that community service. The DA’s office also requested more documentation and paperwork from the Richmond Police Department, which the department has sent over to Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Chris Brown’s brawl with Frank Ocean could land him in even more trouble.
We’ve learned the L.A. County D.A.’s Office has an active file and is deciding whether to prosecute Brown for battery.
It’s interesting … because Ocean never formally pressed charges. Nonetheless … the case is under review.
It’s possible the Brown/Ocean incident could come up today at Brown’s probation review hearing. Brown is supposed to be in court, and the judge court, and the judge could raise the issue because Chris was ordered to obey all laws.

After getting robbed at gunpoint this past weekend, 2 Chainz is now in jail on felony narcotics possession after being arrested earlier this afternoon.
4:43 PM PT: 2 Chainz has been booked on felony narcotics possession. Law enforcement sources tell us … Chainz was in possession of Promethazine — one of the 2 main ingredients in sizzurp. He also had pot, but less than an ounce.
2 Chainz was just arrested at LAX … after cops allegedly found weed on the “I’m Different” rapper as he was trying to board an airplane, TMZ has learned.
Sources tell us … 35-year-old 2 Chainz is currently being booked for possession of marijuana after he was caught with pot in Terminal 5.
